Fork

It seems people from this wiki are moving on. I'm sorry to see you go.

That's allowed of course, the license we use on wikia specifically allows you to copy the content and go elsewhere. We call it "right to fork".

However, it's not okay to spoil the wiki you are leaving behind. It's your right to fork, it's not your right to damage the wiki you choose to leave. This wiki will remain open for any new contributors to use and revive, and the content should be in place for them.

It's also not okay to use this wiki as a way to advertize your own. That means no templates like "WikiLink", no "recruiting" people via their message walls, and no other notices on the main page or elsewhere.

I hope you will help me make this a smooth transition.

Thank you

Everything you've mentioned is kind of what prevents it from being smooth? The entire site was the work of one editor until she decided to move it off wikia, so why not just wipe the wiki and let someone else make their own content instead of allowing them to so blatantly boggart off her own work?

We have seen too many communities revive after a fork to close this wiki. I want to give this one every chance to do the same.

There is no reason to keep this wikia up when all the major contributors left and are gathering further members for the active wiki. This wikia page only serves as a distraction with outdated information, which is detrimental to viewers because this comes up in google much sooner despite its irrelevance.

Many of the "revivals" you speak of are a result of member disagreements and separations. This is different in where every major player has left, and not even a mouse is left behind. I'm sure you'll be hearing about an official closure request soon.
